أصدر الدكتور أسامة فوزي العدد الأول من جريدة " عرب تايمز" في شهر آب اوغست عام 1986 في مدينة هيوستون بولاية تكساس الأمريكية في 12 صفحة من حجم التابلويد ونجح خلال عام في زيادة عدد صفحات الجريدة إلى 48 صفحة نصفها إعلانات لشركات ومؤسسات أمريكية وعربية معروفة وتميزت " عرب تايمز" منذ صدورها بأسلوبها الصحافي الساخر وتنوع موضوعاتها وسعة انتشارها بين عرب أمريكا حيث أنها كانت ولا تزال الجريدة العربية الوحيدة التي تصدر في أمريكا وتوزع في جميع الولايات الأمريكية وبريطانيا و هي الجريدة العربية الوحيدة التي تباع في الاسواق الامريكية وتنفذ من الأسواق فور صدورها . وفي عام 1997 أطلقت " عرب تايمز" موقعها على الشبكة الدولية - الانترنيت - والذي يحتل الان المرتبة الأولى بين جميع مواقع الصحف العربية الأسبوعية الصادرة في العالم العربي وفي المهاجر . |
